CUSTOM WORK BUILT ONE AT A TIME
CARRParts is a one-man fabrication shop, not a production line. Every custom project is designed, planned, fabricated, fitted and finished by Dan from the ground up. That means your project gets his hands and attention from start to finish - but it also means custom work takes time. Turnaround varies based on the complexity of the build, materials, design time and the projects already in the queue. Most custom projects should be expected to take several weeks after the design is finalized, and a more specific timeline will be discussed before work moves forward.
A big part of that process happens before fabrication ever begins. Measurements, component placement, clearances, functionality and the details unique to your vehicle all have to be worked out before metal gets cut. Each custom design includes up to two rounds of customer-requested revisions. Additional design changes beyond those two rounds are an additional fee to account for the additional design and planning time. Changes requested after a design has been approved may also affect the project price and completion timeline.
Submitting a Build Request starts the conversation - it does not automatically place an order or guarantee a completion date. Dan will review your request, discuss the project with you, confirm feasibility, scope, estimated cost and timing, and make sure everyone is on the same page before the build moves forward. The goal isn't to rush custom work out the door. It's to build it right.
